Alliance Architects is seeking an experienced K-12 building project architect focused on the design and delivery of physical school buildings to join our growing firm.
This role is for a degreed architectural professional responsible for designing and delivering K-12 facilities. This is not an IT, data, or software architecture position.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working as an architectural professional on K-12 school facilities
- Experience delivering both ground-up and renovation K-12 buildings
- Experience in tilt-wall and steel frame building detailing preferred
- Broad-based experience in architectural project coordination, construction documents, and construction administration
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- Architectural licensure preferred or actively pursuing licensure
- Active in the K-12 design community or architectural professional associations (A4LE, TASA/TASB, AIA, etc.)
- Proficiency in Revit for architectural production and coordination
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This individual leads and coordinates the architectural design and construction of K-12 facilities, from schematic design through construction administration. They are responsible for producing and coordinating architectural documents, collaborating with consultants, and supporting construction activities in the field.
This individual builds and maintains long-term relationships with school districts, contractors, consultants, and public agencies.
