Job Summary
Main Duties & Responsibilities
This position oversees the daily operations of pin and sleeve heading operations in obtaining efficient operation of manufacturing. Maintaining adequate production, quality, and delivery in support of customer requirements.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities And Competencies
Responsible for scheduling and driving execution of 1 die/2blow, 2die/3blow Headers.
Overseeing executing of sheet metal progressive heading of multiple alloys.
Manages pin and sleave header operators to ensure meeting or exceeding daily production goals to meet customer and on-time delivery.
Carries out manager responsibilities including but not limited to performance management, interviewing, timekeeping, counseling employees, and training.
Completes 30-60-90 day proficiency guidelines with all new hires.
Establishes training program for the effectiveness of operators. Manages career progression for the header career development and advancement.
Establishes and enforces company policies as necessary and actively participates in the company’s safety, health, and environmental programs.
Formulates, plans, and implements long-term goals and strategies. Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual goals as set forth in the company plans.
Promotes behaviors on the plant floor supporting an engaging workforce.
Provides high level of focus on daily operational activities to ensure timely deliveries.
Coordinates status information on projects, shipments, production, inventory levels, lead-times, and various other status reports as needed.
Creates and optimizes opportunities for cost and lead-time reduction, cost avoidance, and productivity increases. Includes the establishing and planning of capital expenditures.
This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the City of Industry, CA location.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred. 15 plus years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment with direct operational responsibility.
Candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience scheduling and driving execution of 1 die/2blow, 2die/3blow Headers. 10 years’ experience of leading progressively headed or forged nuts, pins, collars or sleeves is a minimum requirement.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision.

Compensation
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $145,000 - $160,000.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
