Starting Wage:                                    $15.52 or current Food service rate if an internal applicant

*This is a school calendar position, approximately 5 hours per day - 5 days per week.  

Actual start and end times will be determined as the lunch schedule for this building is finalized and ongoing needs of our program are reviewed.  Estimated time is 8:15am -1:15pm  *Must be available to work scheduled school full and half days for breakfast.

Job Summary:

AECC  morning position requires help serving breakfast and prepping meals.  There are cooking responsibilities and back up to the Kitchen Lead.  This position is the first called if the Team Lead is unable to work, so efficient communication is required. Assumes responsibility for preparing and serving attractive, quality foods in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, cooperation, and friendliness and in a manner that maintains food safety and sanitation requirements. Practices habits of personal appearance and grooming as determined by food service policy. ServSafe qualifications are a goal but not required.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate but distractions can be frequent due to building traffic. 

Mental Functions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to compare, analyze, communicate both orally and in writing, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile, and negotiate.
