Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. Pay is commision based on flag time. We are open Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Duties:
- Perform auto body repairs and restoration on a variety of vehicles
- Conduct automotive repair tasks such as welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Skills:
- Proficiency in automotive repair and restoration processes
- Ability to solder and weld various metals
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication for auto body repairs
- Previous experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred
- Ability to fabricate parts as needed for repairs or restoration projects
- Knowledge of auto restoration techniques is a plus
