Position Summary:
We’re looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Store Manager to take ownership of our wellness retail showroom featuring hot tubs, pools, saunas, and cold plunges. This position focuses on managing the retail space and store operations, ensuring smooth daily functions, excellent communication across departments, and an exceptional in-store experience for customers.
This is not a micromanaged role. You’ll have the independence and authority to make decisions, keep the store running efficiently, and ensure it reflects our brand’s commitment to relaxation, health, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations & Logistics
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory flow, merchandising, and facility upkeep.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment that highlights our wellness products.
- Coordinate inventory deliveries, employee scheduling, and vendor relations as needed.
- Perform follow-up after the sale duties to increase customer retention.
Leadership & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between your store, other departments, and other showroom locations across the territory.
- Lead daily team huddles to align staff on daily goals, product updates, promotions, and customer priorities.
- Collaborate with service, delivery, and sales teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Lead by example, maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere within the showroom.
- Support staff when needed, but the focus is on managing processes rather than direct personnel management.
Sales Support & Product Knowledge
- Back up the sales team as needed, assisting customers, answering product questions, and helping close sales.
- Develop a strong understanding of our product lines, including hot tubs, pools, saunas, and cold plunges.
- Support both retail and large-ticket sales efforts within the store.
- Assist with retail promotions, special events, and showroom marketing efforts.
Administrative & Reporting
- Track store performance metrics and report to the Retail General Manager.
- Manage basic administrative tasks such as invoicing, cash handling, and coordinating product orders.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency or customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail management or operations experience required; experience in a showroom or specialty retail environment preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, able to coordinate with multiple departments and locations.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and dependable, comfortable working independently without daily oversight.
- Proficient in point-of-sale systems, CMR tools, and basic computer applications.
- Comfortable learning and explaining product details and wellness benefits.
- Ability to multitask and manage logistics in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to assist with sales and customer service as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a showroom environment.
- Light lifting (up to 50 lbs) and occasional movement of display materials or product.
