Safety Administrator (Administrative Support Role)
Allen Industries has been operating for over 95 years and is one of the nation’s largest signs and architectural elements manufacturers, with the capacity, equipment and expertise to design, build and maintain every type of signage and re-imaging program.
About the Role
What You’ll Do
- Track and update required OSHA, EPA, DOT, UL, and internal safety training
- Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and compliance documentation
- Assist with maintaining OSHA logs, audit documentation, incident reports, and workers’ compensation files
- Schedule and coordinate internal and external safety training resources
- Support and maintain DOT documentation, hazardous waste records, and environmental reporting
- Communicate training deadlines and follow up to ensure completion
- Schedule and maintain recordkeeping for emergency preparedness programs, CPR/AED training, and equipment inspections
- Enter data into spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems
- Provide general administrative support to the safety and compliance team
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Work Environment
- Combination of office and manufacturing settings
- Occasional exposure to moving equipment, noise, fumes, and industrial conditions
- PPE such as hearing protection and safety eyewear may be required when in production areas
Schedule & Travel
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends may be required
- Limited travel may be required (10–20%, but varies by need)
