General Laborer (Full‑Time)
Full Time | Manufacturing | Sign Industry
We are seeking a reliable General Laborer to build crates, package products, and prepare signs for shipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Build wooden crates and packaging using hand and power tools
- Assemble materials using nail guns, staplers, screws, bolts, and glue
- Place products into crates manually or using hoists
- Prepare signs for shipment, including cleaning, inspection, and touch‑ups
- Install faces, lamps, base wood, and required labels on signage
- Safely operate tools such as drills, saws, sanders, impact guns, and forklifts
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Experience with hand and power tools preferred
- Carpentry or crating/packing experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read tape measures
- Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (team lift up to 100 lbs.)
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Overtime as needed; occasional evenings/weekends
