You'll help bring sign designs to life through fabrication, assembly, welding, wiring, and quality craftsmanship.
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to construct structures and sign cabinets from raw materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Construction of structures and sign cabinets out of aluminum, steel or other materials to create individual custom signage according to customer specifications, shop drawings and blueprints
- Build various sign types, including channel letters, awnings, wall signs, pylon signs, etc
- Use various equipment to cut, bend, turn, mill and drill to specified lengths and widths per work order.
- Operate metal fabricating machines (shears, saws, breaks, bending machines, and punch and forming presses)
- Weld, rivet or bolt components together (primarily aluminum)
- Inspect parts for defects
- Operates machinery and equipment, including routers, welders, saws, air drills and power tools
- Interpret blueprint and sketches
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Experience painting metal or aluminum preferred
- Ability to use or learn to use fabricating machines and hand tools
- Ability to read tape measures and shop drawings
- Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (team lift up to 100 lbs.)
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Overtime as needed; occasional evenings/weekends
