Equipment Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Equipment Manager to oversee the acquisition, maintenance, inventory, and distribution of equipment across our organization. This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and readiness of all gear and tools used by staff, teams, or departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory of all equipment, including tracking usage, condition, and location.
• Coordinate procurement, repairs, and replacements of equipment as needed.
• Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules and protocols.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and regulatory standards.
• Supervise equipment room or storage facilities, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Collaborate with department heads to forecast equipment needs and budget accordingly.
• Train staff on proper use, handling, and storage of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment transactions and audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in equipment management, logistics, or related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with Equipment 360, Visionlink and Michelin Fleet Manager
• Ability to lift and transport heavy equipment as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of industry-specific equipment is a plus.

Working Conditions

• May require evening or weekend hours depending on operational needs.
• Physical activity including lifting, moving, and inspecting equipment.
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
