What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian position at Allen Community College?
12 Month Contract Full-time Position (Hours: 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.)
RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform custodial and light maintenance work including cleaning, event set
up, secure buildings, and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma, or G.E.D, required. Previous experience helpful. Must
be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently
exert 20-30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push and pull or otherwise move
objects. Valid driver’s license. Successful completion of background check.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours and
weekend assignments.
LOCATION: Iola, Kansas Campus
SALARY: Minimum $15.50 per hour starting. Excellent benefit package including
