POSITION TITLE: Packaging Operator - 1st shift (7a-3:30p)
DEPARTMENT: Packaging
REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Packaging
POSITION OBJECTIVE: To work with a team to assure packaging operations are run on time and accurately.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate packaging machines for tablets
- Monitor tablet quality (chipping, breakage) and packaging criteria (count, seals, labels)
- Check and verify bulk and packaging components before starting packaging operations
- Perform minor machine adjustments to maintain efficient operations
- Clean and maintain equipment and rooms
- Follow all cGMP requirements as detailed in SOPs
- Document all activities in Master Production Records and LogBooks
- Communicate any deviations to Supervisor
- Provide additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience in packaging preferred
- Must work as part of a team
