Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate, ensuring optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to isolate faults efficiently.
- Repair plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize welding techniques for system repairs or modifications when necessary.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and reports for all field activities to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in a similar mechanical maintenance role with a solid understanding of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems.
- Strong knowledge of construction principles related to building systems and property maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings; familiarity with HVAC design concepts is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge including appliance repair, boiler operation, ammonia refrigeration systems, and equipment repair techniques.
- Field service experience with a focus on troubleshooting complex mechanical issues efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating
drivers preferred. - Skills in welding, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and equipment repair are essential.
- Familiarity with Ohmmeters or similar testing tools for electrical diagnostics.

Pay: $24.79 - $29.85 per hour
