Director of Information Technology (IT) | Hybrid 2-3x/week Corona, CA | $180-225K salary

About the Opportunity

The client is a well-established, growth-oriented distribution organization seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead and evolve its technology function across domestic and international operations. This is a highly visible leadership role that combines strategic planning with hands-on execution and offers significant opportunity for future growth as the company continues to expand.

The Director of IT will oversee all aspects of infrastructure, business applications, analytics, cybersecurity, systems administration, and technology project execution. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing long-term technology roadmaps and rolling up their sleeves to solve day-to-day business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall IT strategy, operations, and performance of the organization.
• Manage and develop a team responsible for business applications, systems administration, and data analytics.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of enterprise technology systems and infrastructure.
• Oversee relationships with external technology vendors and service providers.
• Support domestic operations while partnering with international teams to ensure alignment and continuity of IT services.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across business systems, processes, and technology platforms.
• Lead technology-related projects from planning through implementation, ensuring successful execution and adoption.
• Partner closely with executive leadership to align technology investments with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve operational efficiency, reporting, and decision-making.
• Establish and maintain cybersecurity best practices, disaster recovery planning, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide leadership and support for enterprise software ecosystems, including ERP, CRM, WMS, and other operational platforms.

Ideal Background

Successful candidates will bring:

• Progressive IT leadership experience within a distribution or manufacturing environment, or similarly complex operational environments.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, systems administration, business applications, and analytics.
• Experience supporting multiple locations and geographically dispersed teams.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional technology initiatives, systems implementations, and driving organizational change.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the business.
• Experience balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.

Qualifications:

• Experience leading or supporting ERP implementation, migration, or optimization projects preferred
• Background managing integrated technology ecosystems that include ERP, CRM, WMS/TMS, and other related supply chain systems.
• Strong project management and technology transformation experience.
• Familiarity with international business operations and vendor management.
• Experience leading and managing a small team of direct reports.
• Able to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel to other US facilities
• MUST be local to the greater Corona, CA area – hybrid onsite 2-3x/week
• Minimum 10 years of IT leadership experience

Offering:

• $180,000 - $225,000 base salary range (could flex for appropriate experience)
