HVAC Project Manager - $95K–$125K Bonus | Greater Boston

Job description:
Allegiance Group is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing mechanical contractor serving Greater Boston. They're hiring a Project Manager to run commercial HVAC projects from award through closeout - either an experienced PM from the mechanical world or a senior tech/foreman ready to move off the tools.
The role:
- Own 4–6 concurrent commercial projects ($100K–$2M range) - tenant fit-outs, lab/medical space, institutional retrofits
- Manage budgets, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Coordinate field crews, subs, and equipment procurement (long-lead RTUs, chillers, VRF)
- Run job meetings with GCs, owners, and engineers - you're the client's face on site
- Work with estimating on buyout and with the field super on manpower planning
The package:
- $95K-$125K base depending on experience, plus project performance bonus

What they're looking for:
- 5 years in commercial HVAC or mechanical construction (PM, APM, or field leadership)
- You can read mechanical drawings and specs, and catch problems before they cost money
- Comfortable with change order negotiation and holding subs to schedule
- Procore, Bluebeam, or similar PM software experience a plus
- MA Refrigeration or Sheet Metal license a plus, not required - they care more that you can run a job
