Location: Barrington, IL

Salary: up to $180k DOE

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join a growing construction team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial ground-up and renovation projects while working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the preconstruction process

Key Responsibilitie

• s:Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and bid proposal
• s.Review blueprints, specifications, and construction document
• s.Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractor
• s.Collaborate with project teams, clients, architects, and engineers to develop and revise estimate
• s.Track market labor and material cost
• s.Maintain vendor and subcontractor relationships and database

• ts.Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specificatio
• ns.Knowledge of contracts, subcontract documents, schedules, and local building cod
