Summary
We are seeking a Global Operations Specialist to join our team at Allegent Community Federal Credit Union. The Global Operations Specialist role performs all duties pertaining to Loan or Global Operations each day. This role adheres to all regulatory compliance, acts as a resource in responding to inquiries and problem solving for Lending and Branch personnel, and provides prompt, courteous, and excellent service to internal and external members.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance of member loans including but not limited to home equity satisfactions, cpi insurance, KLA boarding/funding, title releases, and payoff letters.
- Responsible for certain delinquency functions pertaining to back-end items including but not limited to: reporting, eOscar maintenance, charge off/recovery reporting, shared draft charge off processing, foreclosure and bankruptcy monitoring.
- Maintain all appropriate departmental records, loan document records, and other share related documents while adhering to all associated regulatory compliance requirements.
- Responsible for loan research items regarding loans or credit cards.
- Review LSI tickets and monitor member service emails to assign the items as designated to resolve in a timely manner.
- Review and notify members of remote deposit and ATM returns.
- Process daily mail payments and chapter 13 payments.
- Perform and process other various share operations processing duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including one of the special project assignments.
Performance Measurements
1. Provide informed, prompt, professional and accurate service and support to all members and associates by responding to emails, answering telephones and replying to messages according to established department standards and time frames.
2. Provide courteous and timely assistance to all internal associates in the performance of the many job duties required.
3. Special Projects - manage and complete special projects by achieving milestones and deadlines as set.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries according to established department standards and time frames.
5. Bring error rates within standardized tolerances with the ultimate goal of zero.
6. Develop and demonstrate a working knowledge of credit union loan and deposit program duties, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience: 1-3 years of similar, related, or direct industry experience in lending, lending operations, call center, or general banking operations.
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate information or instructions to others both inside and outside of the organization with a goal of first contact resolution. The ability to build relationships and foster an environment of cooperation and teamwork is a paramount skill. Most discussions require a high level of confidentiality and discretion which requires diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills: Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently. Also, must be able to work through multiple tasks each day which could be in varying disciplines. Requires a working knowledge of regulatory requirements, general PC and core system skills, ancillary systems skills, data entry ability, and problem-solving skills.
