IHSS weekend 4:30pm-11:30pm

We are currently seeking a compassionate, patient, and structured caregiver to support a friendly male client with Autism. He thrives in a calm, predictable environment.

About the Client:

• Sensory sensitive
  
• Independent with many tasks
  
• Thrives in structured settings and consistent routines
  
• Requires priming and preparation before upcoming events or transitions
  
• Unable to manage multiple demands at once
  
• Needs regular breaks to stay regulated
  
• Has difficulty managing frustration at times
  
• No physical touching

He is very friendly and hardworking, with wonderful interests and strengths including:

• Word searches
  
• Singing Disney songs
  
• Reading
  
• Playing Scrabble
  

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Maintain a structured, calm, and predictable environment
  
• Provide clear communication and advance notice before transitions
  
• Support emotional regulation with scheduled breaks
  
• Offer encouragement while respecting personal space and boundaries
  
• Engage in preferred activities such as reading, word games, and music
  

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience supporting individuals with Autism
  
• Patient, calm, and consistent
  
• Strong understanding of sensory sensitivities
  
• Comfortable providing support without physical prompting
  
• Able to follow routines closely and avoid overwhelming the client
