Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services that help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
Responsibilities
Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services that help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, balance activities, and functional mobility
- Follow individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising PT
- Monitor resident responses to treatment and communicate progress to the Physical Therapist
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Promote resident safety, independence, and participation throughout treatment
- Educate residents and caregivers on appropriate exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies
- Current PTA license in the applicable state
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
