Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Silk Screen Manager to oversee our screen printing operations within our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for producing high-quality printed apparel and textiles, ensuring adherence to safety standards and process efficiencies. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of silk screen printing processes, including setup, operation, and maintenance of printing equipment.
- Lead and manage production teams on the factory floor, fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
- Interpret technical drawings, production documents, and specifications to ensure accurate reproduction of designs.
- Oversee the use of measuring instruments and manual handling techniques to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, safety standards in production, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Manage inventory levels of inks, screens, and other materials; coordinate warehouse activities related to raw materials and finished goods.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize workflow.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment such as power tools and manual hand tools; schedule maintenance as needed.
- Train team members on proper use of machinery, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of production activities, including documentation interpretation for quality assurance purposes.
Skills
- Proven experience managing manufacturing or assembly line operations within a factory setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and using measuring instruments.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and manual handling techniques.
- Familiarity with manufacturing management systems, process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing.
- Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow safety protocols diligently.
