All Star Electric is looking to hire on an Onsite Electrical Superintendent. In this role you will oversee and manage electrical construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for supervising field personnel, coordinating daily jobsite operations, maintaining project schedules are being met, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
The Electrical Superintendent will serve as a leader on the jobsite and work closely with the area superintendent, project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
- Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and jobsite logistics.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct jobsite meetings and communicate project expectations clearly.
- Identify and resolve jobsite issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to document important information properly with company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and office staff to support project success.
- Train, mentor, and develop field employees.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5 years in a supervisory experience required.
- 3-5 years in new construction experience required.
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.
- Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities simultaneously.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Ability to work on active construction sites in varying weather conditions.
