Instructor Job Description
❖ Instructors can provide both classroom and/or in-vehicle training
❖ Instructors will facilitate an interactive learning experience through group activity, discussion, and lecture in the classroom
❖ Provide ongoing feedback to both students and parents as the students improve their driving skills
❖ Utilize All Star’s proprietary curriculum, materials, and lesson plans, all of which are provided

❖ Starting pay range is $19.00-$21.00/hour depending on credentials and experience

Job Requirements
❖ Candidates must have a safe driving record and pass a background check, standard physical, and drug screen
❖ Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills
❖ Successful completion of *Instructor Preparation Program (IPP)*
* What is the Instructor Preparation Program (IPP)?*
This program teaches you to become a State certified driver education instructor in roughly four months. Our Instructor Preparation Program course consists of four modules;
501: Driver Task Analysis (45 hours)
502: Developing Classroom Instructional Knowledge (45 hours)
503: Developing Vehicle Operational Skills (45 hours)
504: Student Teaching Practicum (45 hours)
Classes will be held in Sterling Heights, MI this February - May 2026!
