We are seeking a Prep Cook/Cashier to assist our team at a school in Lake Helen. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals with our crew for our students and staff. If you have a passion for feeding our Students during their favorite time of the day, we want to hear from you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up the kitchen with the necessary tools and equipment
- Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
- Follow all food safety regulations
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Running a Point of Sale with orders placed on the website, credit card swipers, and cash
- Must be able to pass a background check that we do for you
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification( Can be obtained after acceptance).
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for lunch periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
