We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our team! This role is essential in managing billing processes and ensuring accurate financial transactions. Your contributions will directly support our mission to provide exceptional service to our clients.
We are open to candidates seeking either a full-time career opportunity or a part-time position. Part-time candidates must be available to work between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, 3 or 4 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process invoices for services rendered in a timely manner.
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform data entry related to billing and financial records, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
- Collaborate with project managers to verify service details for accurate billing.
- Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and client inquiries promptly.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records and reports.
- Facilitate payment of invoices by sending reminders and contacting clients.
- Assist with collections of delinquent accounts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in billing or accounts receivable is required.
- Familiarity with software such as Sage, SAP Ariba, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
