Job Title: Extended Care/Recharge
Job Description
As a Recharge Team Member at All Saints' Episcopal School, you will have a unique opportunity to provide engaging, educational, and enjoyable experiences for students outside of regular school hours. Your passion for teaching, creativity, and commitment to the well-being and development of students will make the after-school program a rewarding and enriching experience. Recharge Team Members will monitor and interact with students, participate in planning activities for students, and help to create a safe, engaging environment.
The Recharge Team Member job is a part-time position. Hours are 2:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on school days. Additional hours are available for scheduled events and summer.
Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate activities for the after-school program.

Create a stimulating and safe environment that encourages student participation.

Plan and organize activities, including homework help, games, crafts, and physical activities.

Supervise students during program hours, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Provide academic support and assist students with homework and assignments.

Offer guidance and positive reinforcement to foster character development and social skills.

Maintain open and positive communication with parents and guardians.

Provide regular updates on students' progress and participation in the program.

Establish clear behavior expectations and enforce program rules.

Manage student behavior and conflicts in a constructive and respectful manner.

Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures to ensure the well-being of students.

Be prepared to respond to medical issues, accidents, and other emergencies.

Ensure the program space and materials are safe and well-maintained.

Assist with Check In and Check Out procedures

Liaison between parents and Associate Director of Extracurricular Programs

High School Diploma or equivalent required

At least 18 years of age

Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is preferred.

Familiarity with program planning and implementation for school-aged children

Strong classroom management
