Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Roofing Construction Superintendent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to deliver projects that exceed expectations.

$60,000 commission and/or bonus structure

• Obtain all necessary permits and licenses from the appropriate authorities and ensure construction is up to code
• Prevent injuries, slowdowns, and project risks by demanding complete adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites, and reporting safety regulation issues promptly
• Determine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary project resources, and estimated labor needed by collaborating with clients, engineers, and architects
• Inform key stakeholders of the status of the project by producing regular progress reports
• Schedule construction operations and create a construction timeline to ensure project deadlines are met

Additional Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate roofing projects, including managing resources and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on all job sites
• Monitor project progress, quality of work, and adherence to specifications
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly
• Manage project budgets and expenses, ensuring cost control and efficiency
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns as needed
• Provide leadership and guidance to roofing crews and subcontractors
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports

• Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, blueprints, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles
• Familiarity with construction project management software is highly valued
• One year of previous experience as a construction project manager required
• Completed training for OSHA 30 license

Additional Requirements:

• Spanish & English Speaking
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in roofing or general construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety practices
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, STACK, Acculynx)
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites in cities outside of Houston for a commercial roof install
