What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Handyman position at All-Pro Home Services & Painting?
Overview
We are a growing General Contractor that needs to add a competent handyman to the warranty team. In this position, you would work with the team to complete projects that last 1-5 days, depending on the size of the scope of work. On large projects, our warranty team helps with final hardware and repairs as needed to bring projects to the finish line.
Our company does roughly 60 projects at a time, which equates to roughly $16-20 million in annual revenue. We are considered a one-stop shop, as we perform a variety of project types:
- Interior Renovations: Kitchens, Bathrooms, Basements, Fireplaces, Painting & Rehabs.
- Exterior Renovations: Decks, Siding, Roofing, Windows, Concrete, Fences & Painting.
- Construction Services: Additions, Sunrooms, ADU’s & Barns.
- Home Services: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Foundation Repair & Handyman.
- Commercial Services: Interior Renovations, Exterior Renovations & Tenant Finish.
- Multi-Family: Siding, Windows, Roofing, Gutters, Decks and Flat Work.

Compensation Details
1. Starting Salary $20-$35 hourly (90-day & Annual Pay Reviews)
2. Company-Provided Truck/Van
3. 401K 6% Company Match (After 90 days)
4. Paid Holidays
5. Vacation Pay - 3 Weeks (accrual)

Job Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable Transportation
- Construction Experience (1 year minimum)

- Strong Knowledge of the Construction Process and Building Code Compliance.

Job Responsibilities
- Work directly with project managers to assist with the scope of work to bring projects to completion.
- Add Daily Logs to our system, Buildertrend. This includes checking off punchlists, adding photos of completed work, and adding any necessary comments.
- Meet with customers as needed to ensure their complete satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively without delay with all customers, subcontractors, and internal staff.
- Complete job site inspections to ensure quality of work to create punchlists.
- Perform final walkthrough with customer.
- Attend, contribute, and help implement the information we discuss in weekly team meetings.
- Ensure job site safety.
- Ask customers for Google reviews throughout the experience.
