What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flooring Helper / General Laborer position at All Pro Flooring Installation Co, LLC?
We’re seeking a dependable Flooring Helper to assist with flooring installation projects. The ideal candidate is hardworking, punctual, and eager to learn. Experience in flooring or construction is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead installer with loading, unloading, and staging materials
- Prepare work areas (cleaning, sweeping, moving furniture as needed)
- Mix thinset, mortar, or other materials as directed
- Cut and carry flooring materials (tile, vinyl, laminate, etc.)
- Operate basic hand tools and maintain a clean jobsite
- Follow safety procedures and instructions from the lead installer
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Willingness to travel to job sites within Pearl River and surrounding areas
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Must be dependable and drug-free
