DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
All Points is seeking a dedicated Logistics Support Specialist to join our Team at Fort Greely, Alaska. This is an ON-SITE, hourly, warehouse, inventory support, shipping/receiving role.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Perform supply support services to include - Interface with multiple customers to meet requirements within the SOW. We are looking for a person who has skills with inventory accountability, work order processes, returning parts for disposition, shipping and receiving of materials using government mandated forms, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to provide Prime Mission Equipment (PME) sustainment support, such as Procurements, Property Management, Spares Inventory, and Packaging, Handling, shipping, & Transportation (PHS&T) for GMD tactical systems; Manage, coordinate and process of warehousing spares and Line Replaceable Units (LRU's) of approximately 4,000 parts; with a focus on maintaining the O&S Calibration duties. Fill auto-generated purchase requisitions (PR's) and customer supplied PR's; Working knowledge of common software to include, MS Office Suite, automated inventory applications and other Government specific software. Provide vehicle coordination, fleet management and maintenance coordination; Assist in heavy lift and/or aircraft loading/unloading of interceptors and associated components from Gov't provided flight; Can drive large trucks as needed, operate pallet jacks, drive 5-15K forklifts on daily basis; Schedule must be flexible during surge periods. Use customer data system for inventory control (to include purchasing/receiving/issuing); Support Gov't audits relating to service providers; activities (safety, calibration, property accountability). Ability to obtain Boeing Supply Chain Management (SCM) related training and certifications, to include Material Handling equipment, Ordnance Storage & Handling, Hazardous Material & Waste, Property Management & Custodianship, International Air Transport Association (IATA), 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
EDUCATION:
- College Degree Not Required
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of experience; 2 years in a logistics role / warehouse environment
SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Active US Department of Defense Secret Clearance (or higher) required
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- CDL desired but not required.
- United States Citizenship required
