Position Summary
Under the direction of the department Supervisor, Teardown is responsible for taking parts off the racks and cleaning them after the plating process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
Physical Demands
6:00AM - 2:30PM
Under the direction of the department Supervisor, Teardown is responsible for taking parts off the racks and cleaning them after the plating process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Removes parts from racks and use air hose to dry parts upon completion of plating cycle.
- Uses a safety blade to remove masking from parts.
- Dips parts in tanks to clean as needed.
- Prepares and packages parts for shipping.
- Cleaning inside and out of tanks.
- Adheres to safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to use basic tools (i.e. safety blades and air hose).
- Ability working on a platform with tanks of acid and chemicals.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and follow precise instructions.

Physical Demands
- Walking/Standing for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Exposed to heat, noise and chemical fumes while in production areas.
