A respected acute care hospital in Tennessee is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Director to lead a busy Emergency Department focused on delivering exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and outstanding clinical outcomes.

What You'll Do
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Department
- Lead, coach, and develop nursing leaders and frontline staff
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and clinical excellence
- Partner with physicians and hospital leadership to achieve departmental and organizational goals
- Improve patient throughput, quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, productivity, budgeting, and resource management
- Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Recruit, retain, and mentor top nursing talent
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
- Drive continuous improvement through data driven decision making
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master's degree preferred
- Current RN license or eligibility for Tennessee licensure
- Minimum of five years of progressive Emergency Department leadership experience
- Experience leading Emergency Department operations, staffing, budgeting, and quality initiatives
- Proven ability to build high performing teams and lead organizational change
- Strong communication, leadership, and relationship building skills
- BLS and ACLS required or obtainable within the required timeframe
- RN license in good standing
