Job Title:Network Engineer III
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
Duration: 24-Month
Contract: W2 Only
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot core networking technologies: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, Firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, IPAM
- Work with major network vendor platforms: Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Alcatel-Lucent, Brocade, Extreme, Citrix, F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto
- Support Layer 1–4 internet routing and switching
- Work extensively in Linux/Unix environments
- Develop network automation scripts using Python, Bash, Shell or Perl
- Lead process improvements and identify opportunities for network optimization
- Support lab testing, validation, and network hardware evaluations
- Contribute to IPv4/IPv6 design, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Ensure high availability and operational excellence in large-scale network environments
Required Skills
Top 3 Must-Haves
- Strong TCP/IP networking fundamentals (IP, TCP, OSPF, BGP, Firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
- Experience with major network vendor hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, F5, Palo Alto, etc.)
- Hands-on Linux/Unix experience
