This is a full-time, on-site role located in Land O' Lakes, FL, for a Workers' Compensation Producer Underwriter. The Producer Underwriter will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with retail agents, analyzing and underwriting workers' compensation risks, and developing custom insurance solutions. They will evaluate applications, assess risk, negotiate terms, and quote policies for agents and their clients. Collaboration with team members, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, and delivering excellent customer service will be essential in this role.
- Strong knowledge in workers’ compensation and property and casualty insurance products
- Skills in risk assessment, underwriting, and policy quoting
- Proficiency in client relationship management, agency communication, and teamwork
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to apply “common sense” underwriting approaches
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with risk management and underwriting software systems
- Experience in workers' compensation underwriting, insurance sales, or relevant fields preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred
