Overview
All In Solutions (AIS) is seeking a Shipper/Packer for the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) contract. This role will support pharmaceutical operations at the CMOP facility in Ladson, South Carolina.
The Shipper/Packer plays a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate, and secure shipment of prescription medications to veterans nationwide. This position involves operating packaging equipment, labeling, preparing containers, and handling various types of medications in compliance with VA, CMOP, and federal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Select appropriate type and size of shipping containers.
· Use excelsior or other packing material to prevent breakage or damage.
· Insert enclosures and other required documentation into containers.
· Close and seal containers securely and accurately.
· Apply shipping labels or enter identifying data on packages.
· Operate various types of automated and manual packaging equipment.
· Read and interpret data from computer screens and scanning equipment.
· Respond to alarms and alerts associated with packaging systems.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
· Monitor and maintain inventory of shipping supplies.
· Act as a “runner” to deliver items or documents within the facility when needed.
· Assist in stock management: restocking, rotating, and checking expiration dates of pharmaceutical items.
· Follow all safety protocols when handling hazardous materials or waste.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Basic typing skills and computer literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Must be able to read, understand, speak, and write English fluently, per 38 U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d).
· Must be able to read from computer screens and operate scanning equipment.
· Understanding of the handling precautions required for hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds using a rolling cart or pallet jack.
· Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods (8–10 hours per shift).
· Must be able to lift totes weighing up to 30 pounds repetitively throughout the shift.
- Must be able to pass a background check and meet all VA security and access requirements.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts based on operational needs. Future operational hours may change, increase, or decrease, to include expansion to evening, weekend, or split shifts, based on workload demand or operational contingencies to include, but not be limited to, inclement weather, equipment failures, local, state, or Federal emergencies, workload transfers, and staffing shortages.
Position Details:
· Full-time federal contract position with an expected five-year performance period.
· Positions available for both 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) and 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM).
· AIS provides scheduling, billing, and all required equipment.
· Employment is contingent upon contract award (expected end of September 2025).
Location Requirements:
- Must be available in-person at the Ladson, SC CMOP facility during all production hours.
