What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recovery Solutions Supervisor position at All In Credit Union?
Are you skilled in supervising and coordinating responsibilities for the Recovery Solutions department? As the Recovery Solutions Supervisor, you will assign and check tasks, mentor and train employees to achieve collection goals, and ensure the success of the members.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Determines work priorities, plans, schedules, assigns, and reviews work. Trains and evaluates assigned personnel. Reports on assigned personnel.
2. Investigates and resolves difficult or highly sensitive collection accounts. Interacts with escalated members; explains and interprets regulations and procedures; and works towards a mutually beneficial resolution.
3. Functions as a resource person on collections function. Represents the institution at court proceedings for legal accounts.
4. Reviews, formulates, and recommends policies and operational procedures for areas of responsibility.
5. Ensures confidentiality and security of member information when interacting with necessary third parties and vendors.
6. Perform skip tracing as necessary on unable to locate members and collateral.
7. Maintain up to date knowledge on all loan products and their contract features as it pertains to remedies offered in the collection process.
8. Work collection queues for absent employees as necessary for departmental effectiveness.
What you bring to the Team:
Experience: Two years progressively responsible experience in collections or related work to include at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Thorough knowledge of and skill in applying collections principles and practices. General knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting principles and practices. Skill in planning and organizing work involving numerous diverse demands; in interpreting financial and administrative reports; in making effective presentations; in the use of automated office equipment and computer software to facilitate collections operations. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to supervise and train assigned personnel in collections operations and procedures; to establish and maintain effective working relationships; to operate personal computers and related software.
Other Skills: Knowledge of BSA/OFAC compliance and be able to assist members with questions concerning BSA. Complete yearly training.
