Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical equipment following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines
- Conduct repairs on kitchen equipment such as ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, and ventilation systems to ensure optimal performance
- Operate company vehicles responsibly for maintenance tasks at various locations while adhering to safety standards
- Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and service manuals to accurately diagnose issues
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed
Skills
- Extensive appliance repair experience with a focus on kitchen equipment and refrigeration systems
- Proven service technician experience with HVAC/R systems including air conditioning repair and HVAC system troubleshooting
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to mechanical systems repair and maintenance across diverse equipment types
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for effective troubleshooting
- Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in appliance installation, equipment repair, and general mechanical systems maintenance
- Construction experience is a plus for understanding building infrastructure needs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Leadership qualities to guide junior team members when needed
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely
