The Process Engineer I ensures Process Engineering Standards and how they relate to the development, documentation, and production of all products at All Flex. The Process Engineer I has a thorough understanding of circuit assembly and design variables which affect product quality. The Process Engineer I reports to the Process Engineering Manager.
Essential Job Duties
- Own and back-up a limited number of processes.
- Support Operations with process, equipment, instruction, material, and part number challenges.
- Own daily root cause analysis on failures, and corrective and preventative actions.
- Fully document Standard Operating Procedures, Control Plans, Risk Mitigations, Environmental Health & Safety Requirements. Photo and video-based instructions are desired.
- Write assembly instructions for part numbers as needed.
- Participate in cross-functional improvements.
- Own small projects.
- Support audits and customer visits.
- Maintain and improve process controls and process capability.
- Corroborate with and travel to other AFS factories, to grow knowledge.
- Provide occasional evening and weekend phone support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in an engineering field: manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, electrical, or industrial, or similar studies.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Experienced with Minitab.
- Experience with SPC, Lean Manufacturing implementation, Theory of Constraints or Cell Manufacturing
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Up to 5%
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Skilled in project management.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
