Essential Job Duties
Education
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Chemistry or other science related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience And/or Training
Prefer 2-5 years of related experience in regulated industries
CAD Software Experience Preferred
Understanding of process flows of different product types
Must possess excellent problem-solving skills
Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Technology/Equipment
Skill to use a personal computer and various software packages

Essential Job Duties
- Lead and coach functional teams to identify and analyze losses and develop solutions and control plans using simple Lean Tools such as SMED, Kaizen, Work Standards, etc.
- Identify and execute activities such as Kaizen events, that focus on scrap reduction, utilization of Lean Tools (5S, SMED, visual controls, Value Stream Mapping) and overall continuous improvement of all production lines
- Provide technical support to develop and implement new cost savings and waste elimination programs, as well as execute active projects
- Lead cross functional teams to develop and implement process improvements through documenting and creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), and developing roles, responsibilities, and procedures that lead to standardization of work and improvements
- Develop and implement training programs and training content to improve the skillsets of employees concerning continuous improvement and lean
- Lead larger projects focused on targeted and specific efforts to increase uptime and help improve throughput
- Work with production and maintenance teams to lead continuous improvements in plant operations. Support change and foster cooperation
Education

Salary : $750,000 - $950,000
