We are hiring Low Voltage Technicians for an upcoming project in Appleton, Minnesota. This is a project-based role, not a full-time position, and work will begin once the project officially starts.
As a Low Voltage Technician, you will support the installation of cabling and low-voltage systems, including Wi-Fi equipment, security cameras, access control, and telecom infrastructure. If you have hands-on technical skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow direction and work safely, this is a great opportunity to join our team on a specialized project.
What You'll Do
- Install and Support: Assist with installing low-voltage systems, including Wi-Fi, cameras, access control, and telecom equipment
- Cable Installation: Pull, route, terminate, and label CAT5/CAT6 and fiber optic cabling
- Conduit Support: Work with conduit (EMT or PVC) as required by the project
- Troubleshooting: Assist with basic troubleshooting under the direction of the project lead
- Site Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a professional job site environment
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with leads and other technicians to complete tasks on schedule
What We're Looking For
- Experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, or telecom installation work
- Ability to pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
- Conduit knowledge is a plus (not required at a lead level)
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow direction
- Ability to work well as part of a team on a fast-paced project
- Reliable transportation to the job site in Appleton, MN
- Ability to meet background requirements based on project needs
