Sales Engineer – Industrial Equipment & Technical Solutions

As a Sales Engineer, you will be the voice of the customer within the organization, working closely with the regional team, inside sales, and channel partners. We seek professionals who understand the value of solution-based selling, technical sales, and consultative sales and who are committed to delivering results, driving revenue growth, and adding value at every step.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop, and implement a Performance Optimization Plan for your territory, aligning with sales goals, revenue targets, and business growth objectives.
  • Engage in value-added sales interactions, ensuring products and services meet customer needs, solve technical challenges, and surpass expectations.
  • Identify new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, and foster strong relationships with existing clients and strategic accounts.
  • Provide expert technical support, product guidance, and best-practice recommendations for product usage, applications, and customer success.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, driving territory growth, account penetration, and increased market share across the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including regional sales, inside sales, operations, technical support, and channel partners.
  • Maintain accurate activity, opportunity, and account information in CRM systems to support forecasting, reporting, and sales operations.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical recommendations to customers, prospects, and channel partners.
  • Support territory sales planning, customer engagement strategies, and ongoing relationship management to maximize revenue potential.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales presentations, technical sales, and new business development.
  • Strong skills in relationship building, customer service, account management, and client retention.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, quotas, and territory revenue goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales and support team.
  • Strong sales operations skills, including pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and opportunity tracking.
  • Experience in territory sales, outside sales, field sales, or a related business development role.
  • Ability to travel by car or plane up to 50–70% of the time for customer visits, sales meetings, and territory development.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Experience using CRM software to manage accounts, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activity.
  • Previous experience in industrial equipment sales, manufacturing, technical products, or related B2B sales is recommended.
  • Ability to apply a consultative selling approach to understand customer needs and recommend effective solutions.

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
