Location: Livonia, MI
Pay: $30–$35/hour

Seeking an experienced Automation Builder / Machine Builder to build and assemble custom industrial equipment including conveyors, lift carts, tables, and automation systems. Candidates must be able to read mechanical prints and blueprints and independently begin assembly with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble conveyors, lift carts, industrial tables, and automated equipment
• Read and interpret mechanical prints, blueprints, and assembly drawings
• Perform mechanical assembly of custom machinery and automation equipment
• Install and troubleshoot pneumatic systems
• Route and install pneumatic piping and tubing
• Perform machine wiring and component installation
• Fit, align, adjust, and assemble mechanical components
• Work independently from prints through machine assembly
• Complete equipment builds accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Machine Builder, Automation Builder, Mechanical Assembler, or Equipment Builder
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical prints
• Hands-on experience building industrial automation equipment
• Experience with conveyor systems and custom machinery preferred
• Working knowledge of pneumatics, piping, tubing, and machine wiring
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and take a project from print to completed assembly
• Experience using standard machine-building and assembly tools
