Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing client relationships within a variety of industries and company sizes
- Responsible for the preparation of individual, partnership, trust, and corporate tax returns
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of quarterly estimates, extensions, tax provisions, and annual returns
- Maintain strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Assist with leading tax research and consulting projects
- Provide effective and timely feedback while mentoring staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Licensed CPA
- Minimum of four years of recent public accounting experience
- Strong background with personal and corporate tax return preparation, researching and resolving tax issues, and working on both federal and state consolidated tax returns
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
- Excellent problem-solving and client relationship skills
