Counselor

Job Description of Behavioral Therapist:

All Day Medical Care Clinic is seeking a Mental Health Counselor to join the team. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to patients in-person and via telehealth. Responsibilities for Behavioral Therapist:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and ACT to treat patients
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients with mental health issues in person and through telehealth
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients

Qualifications and Requirements for Behavioral Therapist:

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited program
• Current Maryland licensure as an LCPC, LCPC-C, LGPC.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in behavioral therapy in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based mental health therapy and treatment approaches.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
