We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
- Perform a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgeries, including dental extractions, implant placements, cyst removals, orthognathic surgeries, and trauma repairs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging interpretation using medical imaging tools
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs while explaining procedures clearly to ensure informed consent
- Utilize aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile surgical environment and prevent complications
- Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, prosthodontists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies
- Stay current with advancements in oral surgery techniques, dental terminology, and relevant medical knowledge to provide cutting-edge care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
- Proven experience in oral surgery procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics support, and dental fabrication processes
- Proficiency with dental office management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms for medical documentation and scheduling
- Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral surgery procedures along with familiarity with medical terminology and imaging techniques
- Demonstrated ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively
- Commitment to infection control standards and HIPAA compliance to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is highly preferred

Pay: $325,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
