What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asbestos Environmental Services Supervisor position at All County Environmental & Restoration Inc?
All County Environmental & Restoration is looking for a highly motivated asbestos supervisor to join our team.
The Environmental Supervisor is responsible for supervising crew members during performance of asbestos, mold, lead and/or other hazardous waste removals while adhering to company policies and procedures regarding remediation while overseeing job set-up and quality control. This includes monitoring crews, customer relations, adherence to company policies and procedures regarding remediation, completion of an environmental field packet on a daily basis, taking air quality samples and compliance with hazardous waste handling practices.
The individual will participate in occasional industry training, update certifications, and maintain fitness levels as required for the Environmental field. The individual will also adhere to EPA, OSHA and local requirements regarding safety, hazardous materials handling, etc. Other qualifications and responsibilities might arise as deemed necessary by circumstances
The candidate will be in possession of a current asbestos supervisor certification. Such certification shall be issued by a Certified State training provider as identified by OSHA. The individual must have on file a valid and current environmental physical enabling the individual to wear a respirator.

- Clean Driving Record (Required)
- Asbestos Supervisor Certification (Required)
Description:
- Oversee environmental and restoration projects including crew members required to meet the needs of the project
- Ensure clear communication to operations and management regarding maintaining timelines and passing final clearances
- Operate and maintain routinely used tools and equipment
- Responsible for conducting daily tailgate safety meetings
- Complete required paperwork and manage personal air sampling on asbestos projects
- Ensure each asbestos project has appropriate labels and hazardous waste manifests
- Set up containment and required equipment including establishing adequate negative air pressure
- Remove building materials containing asbestos, lead, and/or mold
. Requirements:
- Perform all work duties to the safest standards
- Adhere to EPA, OSHA, and local regulatory requirements while performing and handling hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead and mold
- Ability to unload equipment from the vehicle and carrying to the worksite (at times upstairs) can weigh 50 pounds
- Must be willing and able to wear a half or fullface respirator while work is being performed
Must be willing and able to maintain required certifications to perform environmental projects
- Employee must be in good physical health and able to meet the medical clearance requirements for a medical and physical examination and drug screening.
