Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings
- Conduct plumbing inspections using cameras and schematics to diagnose issues accurately
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide installation and repairs
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete tasks efficiently
- Operate company vehicles safely to travel between job sites while adhering to all safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all phases of work
- Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and coordinating with carpentry or HVAC teams as needed
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues and prolong system lifespan
Experience
- Proven service experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial environments
- Hands-on experience with residential and light commercial site work, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras
- Knowledge of local building codes, plumbing codes, and safety standards applicable to plumbing projects
- Familiarity with HVAC systems related to water heating or cooling is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on customer sites with varying conditions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles in a professional setting
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical documentation
