Folder Gluer Operator / Adjuster – Folding Cartons

All Color Printers is seeking an experienced Folder Gluer Operator / Adjuster to join our folding carton production team. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on professional who can set up equipment, troubleshoot production issues, and produce quality cartons efficiently.
Our finishing department includes Bobst Visionfold and Bobst Media folder gluers.
Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and operate folder gluers for folding carton production.
- Set feeders, carriers, belts, folding sections, glue systems, and delivery equipment.
- Read job specifications and verify carton style, materials, glue requirements, and packing instructions.
- Inspect cartons for proper folding, alignment, glue application, bond strength, and overall appearance.
- Troubleshoot feeding, folding, gluing, and delivery issues to reduce waste and downtime.
- Perform line clearance between jobs to prevent mixed cartons and maintain accurate job identification.
- Complete production records and communicate job status and equipment concerns.
- Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Work closely with helpers, packing staff, production management, and Quality Assurance.
- Follow plant safety, housekeeping, and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience setting up and adjusting folder gluers in a folding carton manufacturing environment.
- Bobst folder gluer experience preferred.
- Experience with straight-line 6/corner and auto-bottom cartons preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to identify defects and make adjustments to maintain quality.
- Ability to work on your feet and handle materials safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with a team.
