Hiring for
- Mid-Shift: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- Open availability strongly preferred
Weekend Requirement:
- Must be available at least 1 weekend per month
Full-Time: 35 hours/week
Part-Time: Minimum 3 days/week (option for three 10-hour shifts)
The Direct Care Staff provide daily support, supervision, and guidance to adolescent girls with trauma histories and varying emotional/behavioral needs. Full-time availability is preferred, but part-time positions are available.
This role requires patience, compassion, reliability, and the ability to maintain a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care, supervision, and emotional support
- Assist with meals, hygiene routines, chores, and daily living skills
- Support educational needs, tutoring, and skill-building activities
- Implement individualized care plans to promote stability and growth
- Maintain accurate documentation on behavior and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and team members
- Ensure a safe, clean, and positive living environment
- Attend training and professional development sessions
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach toward residents’ and their unique needs
- Preferred experience with diverse learning needs and educational technology
Required Qualifications
- 21 years old
- High School Diploma/GED
- Clean criminal record & health clearances
- CPR/First Aid (or completed within 30 days)
- Physical exam and TB test
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable supervising teens with mental/behavioral health needs
- Valid GA driver’s license & reliable transportation (transporting clients may be required)
- Commitment to supporting youth in crisis and helping them build life skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.22 - $17.10 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
