What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at All Care Services, LLC?
- Answers the telephone appropriately;
- Assists individuals with ADLs (examples: bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding).
- Leads individuals in educational and recreational activities;
- Report any physical or behavioral signs that are unusual to the House Manager or Program Director/QDDP;
- Cook meals and prepare snacks for individuals (depending on the shift);
- Assist individuals with housekeeping activities, which includes personal care, laundering and ironing of clothes;
- The DSP is responsible for the daily supervision and safety of all individuals, including responding to the physical, psychological, medical, spiritual, emotional, and developmental needs of everyone;
- The DSP supports and promotes a clean and healthy environment for all individuals.
- Provides written and verbal feedback necessary to plan, develop, implement, and further the advancement of everyone;
- Works closely with designated individuals to guide and support him/her in accomplishing behavioral, personal, vocational, educational, and independent living goals;
- The DSP is required to use a vehicle to transport individuals as needed;
- Helps prepare individuals for meals, scheduled groups and activities, group dinners, outings etc. on a weekly basis;
- Attendance at monthly staff meetings is mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
