This is a part-time, on-site role for a Radiology Technician located in Council Bluffs, IA. The Radiology Technician will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure safety guidelines are followed, and provide high-quality imaging services for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsibilities include operating radiologic equipment, preparing patients for procedures, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare staff to support patient care needs. Critical attention to detail, patient interaction, and adherence to safety and quality protocols are key aspects of this role.
- Proficiency in operating radiologic imaging equipment and performing diagnostic X-rays
- Strong knowledge of safety standards, radiation protection, and maintaining sterile environments
- Effective patient care and communication skills to ensure a positive patient experience
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Valid state certification and/or registration as a Radiology Technician
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
