At All at Home Health Care, we provide compassionate, personalized care
that supports clients? physical, mental, and emotional well-being. As a
Supportive Home Care Aide (SHCA), you?ll deliver specialized in-home
support, including mental health and Alzheimer?s care, while promoting
independence, socialization, and dignity for each client. Key
Responsibilities: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs):
bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, feeding (as
authorized), ambulation, transfers, and skin care. Provide mental health
and Alzheimer?s support, socialization, and emotional care. Encourage
clients in self-help, participation in activities, and prescribed
exercise programs, including range-of-motion (ROM) exercises. Monitor,
record, and report changes in client condition, wound status,
intake/output, and other observations. Assist with meal planning,
preparation, and household support, including shopping, cleaning, and
laundry. Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to infection control
and universal precautions. Communicate effectively with agency staff
Regarding Scheduling, Concerns, And Documentation. Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age. Completion of a Home Care Aide training program
(75 hours) plus 12-hour SHCA certification. Cleared criminal background
check, OIG check, and Nurse Aide Registry verification. Previous home
Care Experience Preferred. Mature, Emotionally Stable, And Empathetic
toward patients with medical needs. Physical Requirements: Pass a
physical exam and provide a TB test or Chest X-Ray. Reliable
transportation to and from work. Able to lift up to 50 lbs, perform
transfers, reposition patients, and perform repetitive movements.
